After 40 years of being part of building a General Contractor/Construction Management business based in Edmonton, I have stepped aside to do business in a way that follows my passions, using this 40 year investment to help project stakeholders solve or build what they need, big or small, in a conscious way with great project culture, using best practices for high performance buildings and being environmentally aware and cost effective while doing so.

I started my career after NAIT working as a Carpenter, then Foreman, Site Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Vice President Construction, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Advisor, and Shareholder, I can say I have mostly done it all.

Moving forward I will be using my General Contractor/Construction Manager experience and knowledge providing Freelance Owners Agent Project Management. I am involved from project conception with the design and build strategy starting with the Owners vision, representing the Project as a whole, working with the Owners team and/or bringing the best fit team of Consultants and Contractors to fit the Project, planning and developing the Project objectives, budget, quality, schedule and managing the gaps through collaboration with all involved.

I have always had a keen interest in building with the environment in mind, using sustainable and renewable practices. I am a non-profit volunteer as Executive Director for Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Alberta which is working towards renewable energy efficient financing for residential and commercial projects while creating jobs. My knowledge and passions include High Performance Buildings and Systems, Living Building Challenge, Reimagined Retrofit Buildings and Circular Construction methods.

I am passionate about doing my part to move ahead knowing we have to change today to have tomorrow. What we build today impacts tomorrow.

I am enthusiastic towards this new adventure with a passionate drive for helping you achieve how and what you build in a planned, sustainable, and renewable way with the best cost value outcome.

I am a planner, I am detailed, and I believe and practice value of product and service in all that I do. I will do my part to look after me, to be at my best, so I can look after you and your project and the environment through Renewable, Mindful and Knowledgeable means.
